Disney does it again! Can I just say that I freakin’ love this movie?! Back in 1994 and now in 2019… it makes no difference. I was lucky enough to be in a theater with all adults and it made me think of this meme.
Haha! I was definitely singing along. Let’s go ahead and do a round of applause for Seth Rogan! He was a great Pumbaa as was Billy Eichner as Timon. Bravo! The casting of this movie was fantastic, and I couldn’t have done a better job myself…except (please don’t kill me, Bey-hive), Beyoncé. And I hate to say this because I am actually a fan of Beyoncé, but seriously the girl can’t act. Let’s be honest here. Where other people took on the roles of their characters and you can hear the character, all you can hear when Nala speaks is, well, Beyoncé speaking. I’m sorry, but that is just my nitpicking on a movie that made me smile the entire way through, except during Mufasa’s death which was SO MUCH sadder in live action!
