Network: Hulu

Okay, Dwayne Johnson is in this movie, so I gave it a shot. I also have loved Nick Frost since Hot Fuzz and he is a great addition to any movie! What I did not know was the ingenue of the day, Elizabeth Pugh, who just stole the show as Amy in Little Women, plays the main protagonist, Saraya. Lots of good stuff here!

The story is about a family that runs a smalltime wrestling business in Norwich, England. They have a small and struggling business. Both Saraya and her brother, Zak, have been part of the family business since they were old enough to walk. All is work and trying to make ends meet until one day they get a call from WWE for Saraya and her brother, Zak, to come and audition. The rest is a glimpse into the WWE world through the eyes of someone who has dreamed of being there. Vince Vaughn does a good job as Coach and thankfully there is a fun encounter with The Rock himself! It is also a chance for Saraya to find out what she is made of, how hard it is to chase or lose a dream, how much she loves her family, and what she truly wants. Most of all, it is about family (a real-life family as it turns out!). If you are lucky enough – when all the world is hard – your family is everything and they have your back.

The Council Rules:  Binge and enjoy a sweet and funny look at the wrestling world and achieving a dream!
