I will start by saying that I love scary movies and the previews for this movie looked creepy and great! I never read this book or series (whatever it may be). With that being said, I was very disappointed in this. I went to see it in the theater, but this may as well have been made as a low budget film on Netflix. Not that this film was low budget, that’s just how not good I found it. For one, the only scary part was shown in the trailer. Everything else, well it was lacking or just dumb or gross. Not scary in the least. I kept waiting for it to get good and it never did. Maybe if I was in high school it would seem better, who knows. I keep seeing reviews for this movie and people love it but… did we watch the same movie? You tell us!
